B2B Marketing Communications Specialist

ROLE PROFILE

The B2B Marketing and Communications Specialist will focus on key areas that drive revenue growth. In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for developing content for broad-based B2B marketing programs. You will be a key contributor to brand positioning and awareness, accountable for website revision, content creation and sales collateral.

To support the company's business objectives, you will collaborate with Management to execute the company's B2B marketing strategy and programs (internal/external branding, advertising/sponsorships, events, digital marketing). You take multi-layered business concepts and inputs and simplify them into a cohesive, unified identity and brand position. You are creating compelling content and effective copy.  

SCOPE OF ROLE

  • Spearhead and ensure the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials—coordinating and socializing with content, creative, sales and broader organization;
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis to inform the sales process and help with positioning and messaging;
  • Lead ongoing tracking and reporting on B2B marketing initiatives;
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing plans that may include email campaigns, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, videos and website updates;
  • Collaborate with the Design team to produce collateral.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in relevant discipline.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar function with database and digital marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B Digital Marketing programs.
  • Excellent communication skills – strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail;
  • Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities;
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally;
  • Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn;
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Spoken and written proficiency in French and Spanish is a significant asset.
